SINK OR SWIM VOL 2

BY MELLO

ID JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT EVERYTHING I SPEAK IS MY OPINION. EVERY ARTIST I REVIEW IS TALENTED AND I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT EACH OF THEM POSSESS THE ABILITIES TO TAKE THEIR CRAFT TO WHICHEVER LEVEL THEY WANT. I STRONGLY SUGGEST RESEARCHING EACH ARTIST AND GIVING THEM YOUR OWN "REVIEW".

MUCH LOVE AND GOOD VIBES SENT.

LIL PUMP - LIL PUMP (ALBUM)

With an uptempo style and unconscious subject matter, Lil pump debuts with his self titled album. With features from Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Lil Yatchy, and more, I was "pumped" to listen to it. A year ago Lil Pump released "D Rose" and my interest grew. Since then he has accumulated over over 35 million plays on soundcloud alone and releasing it on this album is only going to boost it even further. I have always enjoyed the track and still listen to so I decided to skip it and move on to another called "Back" featuring Lil Yatchy. I quickly found myself turning up in my room. Perfect music to smoke and get high to. Another song I really enjoyed was "Gucci Gang" because it gave me the "D Rose" vibe, which I have always enjoyed from this up and coming rapper. Every song is hype and with a cadence interchangeable on every song hes ever made i can only give an overal of 7/10.

JIMI ONO - TOO MUCH FEAT LIL TRACY (SINGLE)

Intertwining vibes from the likes of Travis Scott and The Weeknd, Jimi Ono and Lil Tracy create an amazing piece of work. With a great sound that should be in a genre called "stands on its own" I give this song a 9/10.

Very good work I hope this isnt the last time the duo work together.

LA FUR - SEX, PISTOLS, AND PAIN (ALBUM)

Let me start by saying that this is album is one of the first projects that i have seen lately that has been put together very well. From the album art and track listings to each track being above average, La Fur doesn't disappoint. The club banger "Cant Trust Too Many" and the Migos vibe I got from "Lil Fine Chyna" I find myself digging the tape and I would have loved to give the project an 8/10 or 9/10 but i feel a few songs could have been better, especially on 5 track tape.  "12345 feat Jet Boi" was an ok track but I felt he flow and substance was preschool compared to the rest of the tape. Also I dug "Judas" until the middle when the lyrics seemed to jump from meaningful to a freestyle. Overall I Give this album a 7/10.
