BUYING REPOSTS VS PLAYS? AND IF ITS OKAY TO PAY FOR THESE SERVICES.
BY. YUNG LAZARUS
On Soundcloud we see a lot of arguments whether or not buying a repost is okay or not, or if it’s the same as buying plays. In a way yes you are purchasing “clout” but at the same time if you’re very careful about who you buy from you will get legitimate plays. Now in my opinion it is 100% okay to buy a repost as long as it’s from a real account such as Atlas, Slight Beats, Drew The Architect etc. These accounts will help you get legitimate views on your songs for a very reasonable price, but the difference between buying a repost from one of these people and buying plays is the legitimacy of the plays. You can find websites where you can get bot plays on your songs, which in all reality doesn’t help anyone and makes you look like an idiot.
All buying plays gets you is a bunch of people calling you out and making fun of you for not putting real effort into your work. There’s a few lesser known people who buy plays such as Nemo, Lil V & more, and it’s always to a different degree. Lil V is the perfect example of this, he bought followers, plays, and dreads for his head. You can always tell when someone buys plays because it will usually be way too many plays that don’t match their follow count. How can someone with 10k followers bust out a song that gets 3 million plays? They can’t. So basically the answer to the question “is it okay to buy a repost?” is a big fat yes, but only if you’re careful who you buy from.
